Accepting art & literary submissions

Now until February 28, 2015

The Byways Journal of Arts and Letters is a student-led publication featuring creative written work, short fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and drama, to include art work, paintings, sculptures, and metal works.

The journal is open for all enrolled Central Texas College students worldwide to submit their writings and art to be considered for publication. Requirements for eligibility are that the artist or writer must be an enrolled student during the submission period. (September 2014 through February 2015).

The student-led advisory board votes on all submitted work and awards monetary prizes in each category. The student board prepares the journal for publication and arranges the PowerPoint presentation at an event held at the Hobby Memorial Library on Central Campus in Killeen, TX.

Artwork; digital photos of your work can be submitted in any of the JPEG (.jpg) formats.

Writing submissions should be in either Rich Text Format (.rtf), or as a Word Document (.doc).
