Interlibrary loan materials are borrowed from other academic libraries.

The ILL department can locate books and journal articles which are NOT owned in CTC’s collection. You can check the Library Catalog for books and hard copy journals or our electronic resources for articles first.

Materials not available for loan:

Materials usually not available for ILL include: newspapers, reference items, current periodicals, bound periodical volumes, required textbooks, genealogical and local history materials, audiovisual materials, thesis, dissertations, microfilm/form.

How do I request an ILL?

Log into OCLC World Cat, locate material and submit an online form by clicking on Borrow this item from another library.

How long does it take?

The ILL service generally takes a minimum of two weeks, but can take up to four weeks.

Who is allowed to request an ILL?

Current CTC students, staff and faculty may request items. You are required to bring your CTC ID with you to check out the ILL item.
