The CTC Department of Agriculture currently offers an Associate in Science (AS) degree in agriculture, a two-year Agricultural Industries certificate and three one-year certificates specializing in Equine, Horticulture and Agriculture Production.
The associate degree is a two-year program designed so the student can transfer course hours to a four-year university. The certificate programs are designed to provide specialized training with a "hands-on" approach to learning.
The Department of Agriculture manages a 360-acre Livestock Center. The Livestock Center includes newly designed horse stalls, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, cattle production facilities, tillable cropland, and pasture/rangeland for both the equine and bovine herds.
The Agriculture Department also includes a climate-controlled greenhouse for Horticulture classes and labs.
