Delta Epsilon Chi

The vision of Delta Epsilon Chi has always been a vision of the future. Delta Epsilon Chi greek letter logo

  • It is a marketable future for Delta Epsilon Chi members across the United States and Canada.
  • It is the future of partnerships between many of America's leading businesses and marketing educators in the interest both of corporate needs and of Delta Epsilon Chi Members.
  • It is a demonstration of the present and future intergration of academic learning with identifiable marketable skills.

Delta Epsilon Chi has made two significant contributions to the lives of over 100,000 students who have applied the marketing and leadership principles they learned in the classroom, in the workplace, and through Delta Epsilon Chi projects and competitive events. Clearly, Delta Epsilon Chi has contributed to the marketable future of our former members.

Those same opportunities are available to today's members. Through Delta Epsilon Chi the unique combination of creative teaching and strong support from business leaders have combined to form a set of experiences that allow Delta Epsilon Chi members to begin their careers with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that enhance their marketability.

As leaders in preparing students for marketing-related careers, we are uniquely poised to meet the challenges of the future because of our past success and our solid grounding in the experiential outcomes for students. To assure a marketable future, we need to continue to address those principles that have made us strong--the willingness to learn and to work, respect for the free enterprise system and the opportunities it represents, and the entrpreneurial spirit to face the future with confidence. By upholding these principles, today's Delta Epsilon Chi members, and tomorrow's, will indeed have a marketable future.

DECA at Central Texas College

The Central Texas College Delta Epsilon Chi chapter is affiliated with the national organization of the Distributive Education Clubs of America, which includes high school students in virtually every state. Delta Epsilon Chi is the collegiate association of marketing and management students on college campuses throughout the country, and generally follows the pattern of encouraging competence, competion, and community service. The CTC chapter is also affiliated with the Texas Association of Delta Epsilon Chi.

Our local Delta Epsilon Chi chapter is organized to achieve the primary purposes listed above as well as to encourage the development of student campus leaders, assist the Central Texas College Foundation in providing scholarships, participate in local community service projects as the current club memberships elects, and prepare for competition in various marketing and management
