Books & Writing:
Explore and develop your creativity and original thinking through the written word. Participants will have an opportunity to expand their knowledge of different writing styles and techniques. Course will cover various writing types and will include exercises to help improve skills and discover how fun writing can be. Be prepared to write a lot! Participants will have the opportunity to read their written works on the last day of class to family and friends. Bring paper, a pen or pencil and an eraser. Kimberly Foster (see Storytelling). Learn how to express your creative self through poetry. Students will explore different types of poetry and learn how to use different environments to write.
