A number of the hard working, implementation team members have been creating training materials for the new Colleague system. We're pleased to announce the first of these classes - Colleague Basic Navigation. This class is available either:
To sign up for the Main Campus, in-person class, call the Main Campus Training department at extension 1333 or send an e-mail to Employee.training@ctcd.edu. To sign up for the on-line version, go to the CTC Colleague Training website at the following address: http://moodle.ctcd.org/ctc/training/login/index.php The above web page informs you: To have a login and password assigned for online courses and the CTCD Colleague Education (Training) database please send an e-mail to Employee.training@ctcd.edu and include your name, PEID number, department, location, telephone number, e-mail address, and supervisor's name, e-mail address and telephone number. Prior to taking the on-line version of Colleague Basic Navigation, you'll want to first make sure that you have the Datatel program installed on your computer. The Datatel program (also called "UI" [User Interface]) is what allows you to connect to the Colleague system. If you don't have it installed on your computer desktop, contact your site technical representative. If you don't know who that is, or have questions, contact one of the following:
Any person wanting to access Colleague must first complete the Colleague Basic Navigation class (with a passing score) prior to I.T. issuing a logon ID. Additionally, since we've discovered some inconsistencies in how personnel are using (and entering data into) Colleague, even those employees who already have a logon ID will soon be required to have completed the Colleague Basic Navigation class.
