CTC has already "gone live" on most of the Core and Financial
Systems. Many of you are familiar with the purchasing/requisition
process that we use in Colleague. If you've received an
Accounts Payable check, that too came from Colleague.
The remaining two systems CTC will go live on are the Human Resources
and Student Systems.
What's a module? In this case, it's a sub-component
of the system. For example, within the Human Resources
system, there are the modules:
Personnel,
Payroll, and
Position Budgeting.
Each module is being implemented by a CTC team and each team has
a leader responsible for that module's implementation.
Look for these very busy folk. They'll often seem a bit wearied
by their implementation duties (in addition to their "normal jobs,"
that didn't go away). They're doing a great job and a great
service for the College.
