Requesting
the addition of Buildings and Rooms in Colleague
To request that a new
building or room be added to Colleague (so that you can enter that
as part of a class to be taught), do the following.
Compose a list of the buildings/rooms with the following information:
Location code (used in Colleague) if you have it.
Building Name
Room Number (*)
Room Name (if not same as Room Number)
Seating Capacity (if you have it)
Other/miscellaneous info
(*) If the Building
has no "room" to designate, (for example, a bowling
alley), then we'll have to assign a room number of "1",
since Colleague will require a Building and Room to assign it
to a class that's being taught.
The location of the building/site determines where you will
forward the above information.
If the room is to be added for a Texas location
(Central Campus or anywhere in Texas), send the request directly
to Facilities Management (Facilities.Management@ctcd.edu).
If the room is for a Continental location,
send the request to Craig Balch. He will forward it
to Facilities Management.
If the room is for any other location,
send the request to Dean Welsh. She will ensure the completeness
of the request and forward it to Facilities Management.
After Facilities Management has entered the room, they will
let you know it's done. Requests will be completed within
24-48 hours of Facilities Management receiving them.
