Hello,
and Welcome to English 2332!
This course is a study of the major works written by selected
world writers from the Ancient Period to the Early Modern
Period. Because it is a "survey" course, there will
not be time to read the works of all major/minor
writers, but we will highlight the representative and culturally
diverse literary artists of each period. Although our
chief emphasis is on significant literary developments and
contributions, the social, intellectual, and historical developments
will be important as they relate to the literature .
Prerequisites: English 1301 and English 1302,
with a grade of "C" in each course. Note: To view some of
the documents on this site, you will need Microsoft Word 2000
or later. If you do not have this program on your home PC,
you can use the computer labs in the CTC library to view and
print them.
