Course Description: This course provides practical experience in the techniques of imaginative writing. It is designed to engage students in practical criticism and contemporary trends while emphasizing the development of creative skills. Students will receive guidance and instruction in the skills and craft necessary to construct successful fiction (short stories) and poetry. Prerequisite: ENGL 1301, or equivalent, with an earned course grade of "C" or above.
