Course Guide
This short guide will assist you in navigating your class.
After your registration process, expect an email from your instructor. If you do not receive any email from your instructor, then log into www.ctcd.edu and click on Students.
Find BLACKBOARD at http://ctc.blackboard.com , and if it is your first time logging in, your user name will be the initials of your first name, the initials of your last name, followed by the last six numbers of your social security number.
Your login is: First and Last name initials (e.g.VM) and last six of SSN (123456)= VM123456
Your password for your first time log in will be your date of birth in the format of mm/dd/yy.
You will be taking proctored examinations throughout your class. Proctoring is conducted on Tuesdays from 10am to 12pm and on Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm.
Recommend you logon to BB 3-4 days before class date. Your instructor normally will post during this time or no later than your start date. If on your start date you have not heard from your instructor, give us a call.
