Identifying a test proctor if you are testing off campus (you are not in the Killeen area) The Central Texas College Distance Learning Staff recommend as an appropriate testing center one of the following:

  • Central Texas College Continental or International Site.
  • Central Texas College Service Area Site.
  • Community College or University testing center under the supervision of the Testing Director.
  • High School under the supervision of principal, counselor, or faculty.
  • Library facilities under supervision of Librarian or assistant.
  • Army or other service branch Education Center.
  • Army or other service branch Education Center with staff members designated for testing. The test proctor must be a neutral third party professional employed with one of the above educational institutions. Active duty service members may use a Commissioned Officer grade W-2 or above with a bachelor's degree if none of the above facilities are available. You must provide a detailed explanation of the circumstances, in the comments field, on your test proctor submission form explaining the inability to use the facilities listed above.

The test proctor must be a neutral third party professional employed with one of the above educational institutions or have a bachelor's degree. We do not consider the following as appropriate test sites/proctors:

  • Your place of employment with supervisor as proctor
  • Law offices
  • Doctor's offices or hospitals
  • Friends or relatives
  • Personal Residence

Please make arrangements for testing at the beginning of your class to prevent delays, then submit the Test Proctor Submission Form to identify your test site. You must provide all information requested before your form will be processed. This information is imperative for us to send your tests in a timely manner to the site and give us access to the test proctor in any situation.
