CTC Foundation to host annual benefit fashion show

Central Texas College and Sherri's The Rosebud will present the second annual Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon to benefit the CTC nursing department scholarship program and equipment purchases for the new nursing facility. The fashion show will be Friday, April 9 at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center beginning at 11 a.m. The fashion show will highlight spring and summer fashions and accessories.

Attendees can also purchase door prize tickets for a chance to win great prizes including a Starfire necklace valued at $1,430. Other prizes are gift certificates to Sherri's The Rosebud ($250), The Spa at Canyon Oaks in Waco($140), Fleming's Steakhouse in Austin ($100), Roaring Fork Restaurant in Austin ($100) and

Town Place Suites by Marriott (three certificates for one night each; minimal value $119 each).

Models for the Fashion Show include CTC nursing professors Kimberly Simmons and Marilyn Hickson; nursing students Ana Rios and Casey Contreras; Michele Carter, director of CTC Business Services; and Holly Jordan, director of CTC Human Resources Management.

Music for the event will be provided by the CTC Jazz Band.

Tickets for the Fashion Show are $40 per person or $320 for a table (seats eight) and include lunch. Reservations can be made by calling 254-526-1662.
