spring semester registration underway
Registration
for the Central Texas College (CTC) spring semester is underway
now through December 18. Following the holiday break, registration
resumes January 4-8. Classes begin January 11, 2010.
Returning
students may now register online using the WebAdvisor system
and seek academic advisement through the Guidance and Counseling
Office in the Student Services Building (Bldg. 119). New
students who have completed the admissions process and all
required testing may also complete academic advisement during
this time. To register online, students should log onto
www.ctcd.edu , click
on the “Students” link and then click on the “WebAdvisor”
link. Class schedules are also available at the same web
address.
Walk-in
registration and academic advisement for new students will
be conducted January 4-8 in the Guidance and Counseling
Office from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and
8 – 11 a.m. on Friday. Registration times are based on the
last four digits of the student's Social Security Number.
Students are encouraged to visit the CTC web site for their
correct registration time. Late registration will be conducted
January 11-14. A $10 late fee will apply.
New
student orientation will be held Friday, January 8 at 9
a.m. in the Nursing and Science Building (Bldg. 150), room
1075. To sign up, please call 254-526-1258.
Students
interested in taking distance learning or online classes
starting in the spring may also register on WebAdvisor through
December 18. After the holidays, registration for online
classes starting in January will be January 4-7. For online
classes starting in February, registration is January 4
– February 4. And for online classes starting in March,
registration will be January 4 – March 4.
Also,
students interested in taking courses during the spring
mini-semester at the CTC Fort Hood campus, can register
online now through December 19 at Bldg. 3201. The mini-semester
runs January 4 – 22, 2010. Classes offered include English,
government, economics, speech, philosophy, psychology and
