Full-time employees, working for the College within Texas, are eligible for employer-paid health insurance or additional monetary compensation if this coverage is waived. Employees outside of Texas are not eligible for this health coverage, but will receive the additional monetary compensation.
Employees can select from three health plans. Optional coverage consists of dependent health coverage, two dental plans, term life, AD&D, short- and long-term disability coverage and dependent life.
Central Texas College employees do not contribute to Social Security. To learn how this may impact you if you retire with a State annuity, please visit www.socialsecurity.gov for information on the Government Pension Offset rule and on the Windfall Elimination rule.
