Barbara started at CTC in fall of 2003 after 15 years as a military spouse with various marketing and recreation jobs with the Army in California, Kansas and Europe. She has an MS in Advertising from Northwestern and a BS in Journalism from Arkansas State University. She enjoys working on special events and community causes.

Bruce began his CTC career in the summer of 2004 as the Intramural Sports Director in the Physical Education Department. He joined the Marketing & Outreach team in November 2005 with almost 20 years experience in public/community relations from his tenure with Sprint Corporation. He holds a BBA–Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Bruce is also a CTC part-time physical education instructor.

Sue began working at CTC in April, 1994, spending the first 5 years as an Office Specialist for the Dean, Instructional Services. In 1999, after earning her A.A.S., Computer Science (Business Programmer/ Analyst) from CTC, she was promoted to the position of Assistant Webmaster within the Computer Services Department (now Information Technology). A 2003 reorganization moved Sue from the IT Dept into Marketing. She earned her BS Information Technology (BSIT) degree in Dec 2004 and in Dec 2005 was promoted to Webmaster.

Erica joined the Marketing & Outreach team March 2006, with a background in web design and graphic design. She was previously the Web Administrator at a local university in New Orleans, where she received her BA in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. In August 2010, she received her MBA from Texas A&M Central Texas. As a transplant to the Central Texas area from New Orleans, she enjoys spending time with her two young sons.

Donna has been the Graphic Design Specialist with Desktop Publishing since November 1994. She brought with her 10 years of experience as a Technical Illustrator for a national laboratory. When she’s not creating top-notch CTC publications, she stays busy as a single mom raising her three children.

Kimberley was born in North York, Ontario, Canada and grew up in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Kimberley moved to Central Texas in July 1997 and is proud to call Texas “home.” She began working at Central Texas College in May of 2003 and was promoted to Director, Enrollment Marketing & Outreach in November 2010. She has a BS in Sociology and Minor in Psychology from Texas A & M – Central Texas and is pursuing her Master of Science. In addition to serving on the Board of Heritage House of Central Texas, Kimberley also serves on the GKCC Public Education Committee and in her spare time enjoys volunteering in the community, traveling, spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and gardening.

Joy received her undergraduate degree in business administration and a teaching certificate in 1998. She worked as a high school business education teacher before becoming a government contractor for Central Texas College in 2004 at Fort Lewis, Washington. In 2007, Row returned to school for a master’s degree and while studying at the University of Texas at San Antonio, she worked on several research projects, including a study on financial literacy which was published. In 2009, Row graduated from the MBA program at UTSA with a concentration in marketing. After relocating to the Killeen area, she again worked as a government contractor for CTC in the NCO Lead program on Fort Hood; fulfilling a professional goal of being an instructor for soldiers. As a member of the Marketing and Outreach team, Row’s duties include helping to build and maintain communications with students via social media and other tools, reaching out to the community to further support CTC’s retention and promotional efforts and assisting with ongoing enrollment management marketing for both current and prospective students.

Brian Sunshine arrived at Central Texas College in February 2014 and brings 25 years of experience representing publicly-traded, privately-held and not-for-profit higher education related entities to legislators, regulators, industry leaders and trade associations. Originally from Denver, CO, Sunshine holds both an MBA and BS in business from the University of Colorado. His wife, Julie, is an educator at Ellison High School and they have four children. He thoroughly enjoys writing and spending long weekends on the Texas Coast.

Chandra began working at Central Texas College in September 2005. In June 2014, she joined the Marketing & Outreach Department as Coordinator, NCPACE & International Recruiting & Retention. Chandra has earned an Associate’s Degree and two certificates from Central Texas College and plans to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree. Chandra enjoys spending her spare time with family, dancing and listening to music.
Lesley Rocque, Computer Graphics Specialist

Lesley joined the Marketing and Outreach team in July 2015 as a Computer Graphics Specialist. She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design form LA Tech University and a Master of Arts in Mass Communications from Grambling State University. As a highly skilled and professionally recognized graphic artist, she brings 7+ years of industry experience in both traditional print and digital mediums. When she’s not grinding at the computer in an effort to beautify the world with her mad design skills, Lesley loves trying new recipes in the kitchen and saving the world with her toddler son slaying one imaginary dragon at a time.
