Evaluation Request

Official Evaluation Requirements

  1. Students must have successfully completed at least 6 semester hours with grade of "C" or better with CTC (GPA 2.00).
  2. Official transcripts from any and all previously attended colleges and universities must be sent directly to CTC. We encourage student to have their official transcripts sent during their initial six semester hours of coursework. Students' copies of transcripts not acceptable. This requirement can't be eliminated or modified.
  3. ACTIVE DUTY, go to https://aartstranscript.army.mil/ and send your official transcript to Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas.
    WARRANT OFFICERS: Certified True Copy of Officer Record Brief and Officer Evaluation Report
  4. NAVY & MARINES , go to https://smart.navy.mil/ and send your official transcript to Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas.
  5. AIR FORCE, go to http://www.au.af.mil/au/ccaf/transcripts.asp and send your official transcript to Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas.
  6. PRIOR SERVICE: Students must submit a copy of DD 214, copies of NCOER's and certificate or DA1059 of military service schools completed.
  7. TESTING: In order to have CLEPS, DANTES, ASE or APP considered for credit, you must have the testing agency submit official tests results directly to CTC. If test results are listed on AARTS/SMART, we will take the result directly from the AARTS/SMART transcript. Any test results over 7 years old can't be considered for credit.
  8. CIVILIAN WORK EXPERIENCE:
    • Using a CTC Catalog, determine courses for which you feel you are eligible and should receive credit.
    • Write a paragraph for each course explaining how work experience has given then the knowledge this course entails.
    • Provide the most current resume.
    • Submit written verification on company letterhead from past and present employers stating that applicable with their organizations are correct and true (Performance Evaluations will be acceptable).
  9. Evaluation is normally completed within four to six weeks to process.

Instructions

If you would like to have an Official Evaluation and all previously attended colleges and universities are on file with CTC and you have met all the requirements listed above:

  1. Students are encouraged to use the online Evaluation Request form or you may print and complete the Evaluation Request download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free form and mail to:

  2. If you have any questions about the status of your evaluation, please feel free to contact us at socevaluation.info@ctcd.edu or by calling 1-800-792-3348, ext 1317.
  3. Evaluations are normally completed within four to six weeks after receipt of all required documents and transcripts. After receipt of the initial packet your evaluation request may be placed on suspense, if documents are missing or do not meet the above listed requirements. A letter will be sent to you identifying the reason your evaluation cannot be processed at this time.
