Tutoring Services at CTC have had an extreme makeover. Project Pass is now the Academic Studio and with a new name, a new look and a new focus, tutoring services are more accessible and provide even more academic support for the CTC community.


The Academic Studio is an instructional support and academic resource center for Central Texas College students, faculty, and staff. A division of the department of Student Success and Persistence, the Academic Studio offers a wide range of services including subject-area tutoring, writing assistance, research and fact checking, study skills and resource/service referrals.


Staffed by the Collegiate Academic Support Team (C.A.S.T.) members, the Academic Studio helps to facilitate the learning process by employing strategies specifically designed to engage and challenge learners.


All C.A.S.T. members are certified AVID tutors/mentors and specialize in a variety of subjects. Using a customized Academic Script, the instructional support services offered at the Academic Studio provide direction, bring goals into focus, organize learning objectives and create numerous opportunities for student success.


All services are free. CTC ID card required.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 9-4 and Friday 9-11.
