This program is designed for the student who wishes to enter the Small Gas Engine Repair career field. It provides entry-level, industry-validated, hands-on training in small gas engine repair using current technologies.

John Deere Career Opportunities

Studies include shop practices and safety, engine fundamentals, gas, arc, and MIG welding, engine service, outboard motor service, drive systems, and lawn and garden equipment service. The program also includes additional academic courses.

 

The instructional staff has an average of 15 years of field and teaching experience. Their technical expertise is kept current by attending update seminars, trade shows, and manufacturer training.
