The IT Division has become aware of an issue with Colleague WebAdvisor. The IT Division is working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Another IT Advisory will be issued when more information becomes available.

May 10, 2012 - IT Service Advisory

The IT Division has become aware of an email that is circulating within CTC titled ‘Your Bill Is Now Available.’ This message appears to be a bill from Verizon Wireless in the amount of $1572.34 (see screenshot below). If you receive this message, delete it immediately and remove it from your ‘Deleted Items’ folder.

May 2, 2012 - IT Service Alert

Activity: Install Business Software Inc. (BSI) cyclic G update.

Date/Time: Friday, May 4, 2012, 5:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. CDT.

Purpose: Install cyclic bulletin TFU09G updates. This update affects payroll processing.

Impact on Service Delivery: Updates must be installed on a quiet system, therefore Colleague Release18_ LIVE and Web Advisor will be unavailable during the above timeframe.

The IT Division has become aware of a spoof email titled ‘Sign In Issue.’ This message reads:

“Hello!

Please be sure to leave the subject and body of this email in place. If you are able to resolve the issue, please let us know!

If you have received this message, delete it immediately and remove it from the “Deleted Items” folder in Outlook. Do not click on the link provided in the email. This message is an attempt to spoof your email account.

There are two forms of spoofing:

  1. Using your email address to send spam or fake email messages.

  2. Attempting to gain access to a system by posing as an authorized user.
