Accessing Outlook Web Access (OWA)

  1. DISCUSSION

If you are away from campus and you need to check your email, you can now access it remotely. Outlook Web Access allows users with email addresses in the CTC email system to check their accounts remotely.

  1. PROCEDURE

A.  To access your email from off-campus through Outlook Web Access:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.

  2. Go to the CTC web site at www.ctcd.edu.

  3. Click the Faculty & Staff link.

  4. Click on the Outlook Web Access icon in the center of the page under the Tools and Forms heading (see Figure 1).

  1. When the pop-up appears, type in your CTC email address (see Figure 2).

  1. Enter your password. If you enter your password incorrectly three times, you will need to contact the IT Help Desk at (254)501-3103 to unlock your account.

  2. Click OK.

B.  To create a shortcut to Outlook Web Access:

  1. Wait until you have successfully logged in.

  2. Left click on the icon in the address bar (see Figure 3).

  3. Drag and drop the icon on your desktop.
