All new desktops will come equipped with flat panel monitors. These new monitors require careful consideration of the cleaning product and a light touch when cleaning them. Below are the recommended steps for cleaning a flat panel monitor.
- PROCEDURE
How to clean a flat panel monitor:
Turn off the monitor to see smudges and fingerprints.
Carefully wipe the screen with a pre-moistened lens towelette. Those designed to clean eyeglasses work well.
If you do not have a towelette, make a 50-50 mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol.
- Spray the mixture onto a clean, soft cloth and carefully wipe the screen.
