TexShare Card Program


  • Texas residents are eligible for a TexShare Card which lets them borrow books from other libraries. The Card is valid only at participating libraries in Texas and only when personally presented by the person to whom it is issued.

  • In theory, military personnel stationed outside of Texas but claiming Texas as their home of record are eligible for a Card. In reality, there's no place to use the Card unless the person livees in Texas.

  • Cards issued by the CTC Library expire at the end of Central Campus semesters and must be renewed each semester. Cards issued by other libraries expire on the date listed on the Card.

  • Current CTC students / employees with a Nolanville, Harker Heights, Killeen, Ft Hood, Copperas Cove, or Kempner address must get their CTC library card and TexShare Card at the library on Central Campus.

  • Current CTC students / employees who live outside the area may request a Card by filling out this form.
