What is a 2'FER?
Integrated Course – Two courses are taught at the same time by one instructor.


Six Credit Hours – Students enroll in both simultaneously and receive six credit hours.
One class meeting time – The online/blended class meets twice a week, the same as a regular 3-credit class.

PM is one of the most rapidly growing professions in America and certified project management skills are now required by many companies.

The Fort Hood Campus offers five 8-week terms and several mini-terms throughout the year. Day, evening and weekend courses are offered. Courses are available to active-duty military and civilians. For more information, contact Student Services at 254-526-1917.

Online courses are offered year-round in 8-, 12- and 16-week terms. Students can complete degree programs online or combine online courses with classroom courses. The courses are available to active-duty military and civilians. For more information, visit our website at http://online.ctcd.edu.

Certificate and degree programs are offered in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management  fields to prepare students for careers in the food service industry. All courses are taught in an eight-week format and are available to active-duty military and civilians. See the Central Texas College Fort Hood campus schedule for course offerings. These courses are offered to active-duty military and provide military skills enhancement for MOS improvement, job performance and technical certification. For more information, contact the Troop School Office at 254-287-4191.

The Testing Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; and starting on 1/14/19, Fridays from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. You may call (254) 290-0701 (Testing CTR) / (254) 526-1917 (Student Services) or email RRinehart@ctcd.edu OR FortHoodTestingCoordinator@ctcd.edu if you have any questions.

CLEP and DSST

  • Active-duty military must provide a counselor referral slip in order to test
  • DSST Public Speaking is offered by appointment only.
  • Fees: free for active-duty military and Reserves; $112 for all other students.
  • Payment: The $87  Clep fee is payable to "College Board" and  must be paid at the time of registration via credit/debit card only via the Clep website, and the $25 payable to "CTC" may be paid by cash, check, or money order.

TSI ASSESSMENT

  • Fees: $25 for the entire assessment or $10 for each section.
  • Payment: cash (exact change), credit/debit card, check or money order

GRADUATE MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST (GMAT)

  • The GMAT is offered by appointment only.
  • Fees: $250 for the entire exam.
  • Payment: Students must register and pay for the GMAT at www.mba.com.

GED TEST

  • The GED Test is offered by appointment only.
  • Fees: $33.75 per section. (Fees subject to change without notice)
  • Payment: Students must register and pay for the GED at www.ged.com.

PROCTORED EXAMS

  • Central Texas College Exams: Test Proctor Submission Form not required
    • Fees: none
  • Exams from Other Institutions: students must contact their home institution to designate the CTC testing coordinator as their proctor.
    • Fees: $25 for up to three hours; $40 for more than three hours
    • Payment: cash (exact change), credit/debit card, check or money order

Students must start their tests early enough to complete the entire test before the Test Center closes. Students are not permitted to work on the same test for more than one testing session.
