Student Services

Thanks for considering Central Texas College. We think you'll find that we're unique, just like you! We are committed to providing you with an affordable, accessible education--whether you're at our main campus in Killeen, at one of our many military locations, or taking online courses from home.

We serve over 70,000 students per semester worldwide, and rank #5 in the nation in distance learning enrollments in degree granting programs. Central Texas College (CTC) was once again named to the list of Best Colleges for Veterans based on a survey conducted by the Military Times. CTC was ranked as the seventh “Best for Vets: Colleges 2015” in the category of online and nontraditional schools. The selection was based on the primary criteria of academic accreditation, whether the school has a central veterans’ office and staff knowledge on veterans’ issues.

Central Texas College is a public, open-admission community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in academic, professional and vocational/technical fields. We also help students transition from a 2-year to a 4-year degree through our many articulation agreements with 4-year institutions nationwide.

Central Texas College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges or SACSCOC  to award associate degrees and certificates of completion, which gives you full confidence that courses you take at CTC will be eligible for Federal financial aid programs and that courses taken with CTC will transfer easily to other colleges.
