Style Standards
This manual
contains specific instructions, guidelines and examples of approved Central Texas College logo and seal usage. These guidelines will help you when preparing materials for publication or when working with Marketing to create attractive communication pieces that fit in with the family of CTC print and electronic publications.
The Central Texas College logo will be used on all flyers, posters, publications, announcements, event programs, newsletters and all other publicity/promotional messages concerning events on campus hosted, sponsored, organized by any and all campus organizations. The logo should also appear on each and every promotional item including awards, plaques, trophy nameplates, certificates, t-shirts and similar items in relation to any and all school-related functions. The exceptions are those traveling trophies already in use. The logo will appear in either black or reflex blue in either the horizontal or stacked version. No other colors or versions are acceptable and will not be used. The logo should stand alone and not be used as part of a phrase or sentence. Examples of unacceptable logo use include:

The logo may be enlarged or reduced to fit a particular space. While it does not have to be the dominant part of any piece, it should be clearly visible and not “hidden” by other graphics or verbiage. The logo proportions should be kept intact when sizing is done. Logos are available to download from the Marketing & Outreach web page. Any questions about proper use of the CTC logo may be directed to the Marketing & Outreach Dept. at ext. 1224.
