What certifications does the program prepare me for?
The program prepares you to take five exams and, upon successful completion of the exams, to receive four certifications.
- The first course, Network Troubleshooting & Support prepares you for the CompTIA A+ Certification Exam, which qualifies an individual to perform hardware repair on a computer without negating the warranty, and provides hands on knowledge of hardware and software.
- The second course, Network +, prepares you for CompTIA Network Certification, which qualifies you to handle larger, more complex networks more efficiently than non-certified staff.
- The three remaining courses prepare you for three Microsoft exams. Passing these exams, along with the A+ and Network+ certifications qualifies you to be a Microsoft Certified System Administrator. The Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) will advance your career by ensuring that you have the skills to successfully manage and troubleshoot system environments running on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
- As soon as you pass any one of the Microsoft exams, you are qualified as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). The MCP credential is for professionals who have the skills to successfully implement a Microsoft product or technology as part of a business solution in an organization.
