    Opposing Viewpoints in Context is the premier online resource covering today’s hottest social issues, from capital punishment to immigration, to violent video games. This cross-curricular research tool supports science, social studies, current events, and language arts classes. Its informed, differing views present each side of an issue and help students develop information literacy, critical thinking skills, and the confidence to draw their own valid conclusions. 

 

"Breaking Traditions:

The Art of Fiber"

 

The new art exhibit currently showing in the upstairs art gallery of the campus library, features the works of Pauline Barrett. Barrett is an award-winning artist in the medium of fiber and textile art quilting. Her work has been displayed locally, nationally, and internationally. The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular library hours through July 31.

A meet-the-artist reception for Pauline Barrett’s "Breaking Traditions:  The Art of Fiber" exhibit will be held July 14, from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
