Please fill out the * Transcript Request Form *. All requests must be signed by the student; it must be a handwritten signature or an encrypted digital signature, as typed signatures will not be accepted.

To request a transcript in person, please stop by Bldg. 119, Rm. 202B (upstairs). Students will need to present a valid photo ID. If mailing the transcript, student must provide the full name and address of person, institution, business, or place of employment. The student may also hand carry their transcripts upon receipt; limit is five transcripts, unofficial or official, at the window. If someone other than the student will order/pick up the transcript(s), they must have written permission from the student or a copy of their Power of Attorney which will be kept with the request in the Transcript Department. The written authorization must:
- be dated
- name the student specifically
- include the student’s ID/SSN
- be signed by the student
- name the person being given permission to pick up/order the transcript, and
- include a clear copy of the student's photo ID to verify signature.
The person picking up/ordering transcript must also present a valid photo ID.
Military: If you are located overseas, i.e. at an APO address, you can request that an unofficial transcript be emailed to you. However, the request has to come from your military email address, as this serves as your signature while overseas. You will still need to provide us with all the necessary information required on the transcript request form. (Alaska and Hawaii are not currently considered overseas for transcript purposes.)
If you are paying for priority or express mail, please be sure to call the business office (after confirming that we have received your transcript request) to pay, or provide your credit card information at the bottom of the transcript request form. Credit card processing may take an additional 5 business days to process.
All faxed transcripts are considered unofficial, and mailed transcripts are considered official.
Please allow 2-5 business days (not including weekends and holidays) to process the transcript request. Please allow up to two weeks from the time your transcript is mailed out to reach its destination, as all mail is sent through the United States Postal Service. Due to the high volume of requests received each day, we DO NOT confirm receipt of requests.You may check the status of your transcript request through your WebAdvisor approximately 5 days after the request is made.
* Due to privacy restrictions, we are not allowed to disclose any specific information regarding your transcripts over the phone and/or via email.
* The Systems Registrar may deny your transcript request if you have any outstanding obligations to Central Texas College. Obligations include but are not limited to: library fine, parking ticket, returned check, non-repayment of financial aid, or failure to comply with admissions requirements.
