Central Texas College (CTC) recently announced its central campus in Killeen will be closed during spring break, March 12-16. Administrative offices will re-open and classes will resume on Monday, March 19.

The central campus library will be open the Saturday and Sunday before and after the week of spring break (March 10-11 and March 17-18) with regular hours of 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will be closed Monday through Friday. During the week, students can still access CTC’s virtual library services. The Ask a Librarian e-mail service, ReferenceRequest@ctcd.edu, is available 24 hours every day, even when the library is closed. A professional librarian is available to answer questions and responses are typically sent within 24 hours of an inquiry. The library “online databases,” including the research paper review service, will also be available throughout the break and can be accessed from the campus library website.

The CTC Fort Hood campus will be open during the week of spring break from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students can register for the spring II semester, which starts March 19. Active-duty military personnel can use the the GoArmyEd portal through March 18 while civilians and dependents may register through March 22 on site or online using WebAdvisor.

Online technical support for online classes through CTC’s Distance Education and Educational Technology department will be available during spring break. However, response time may be slightly longer than usual. For assistance, students can select the “Tech Support” quick link on the distance education webpage.

CTC’s service area campus sites in Brady, Marble Falls, Gatesville, Lampasas, Fredericksburg and Burnet will also be closed during the week of spring break.
