Central Texas College (CTC) has opened registration for the spring 2019 semester classes at its central campus in Killeen. Returning students and those who have completed the admissions/advisement process and have a degree plan on file can register through CTC’s online WebAdvisor system at ctcd.edu. Students needing academic advisement to establish or change a degree plan should set up an appointment online with the CTC Guidance and Counseling office. Registration is open now through December 19 and will re-open January 3 through 11. Spring semester classes start January 14.

Students interested in online courses may also register on WebAdvisor now through January 10 for classes starting January 14. Registration for online classes starting January 28 ends January 24. Friday classes in the Evening/Weekend College program start January 18 and the final day to register for these classes is January 17. Students have until January 18 to register for Saturday classes during the spring semester which start January 19.

Registration for the spring I semester at CTC’s Fort Hood campus is also open. Civilians can register now through January 17 and active-duty military personnel can register using the online GoArmyEd portal from November 13 through January 13. The spring I term dates are January 14 through March 9. Registration for spring II semester classes at the Fort Hood campus open December 24 for civilians and January 21 for active-duty military.

CTC's Service Area campus is also conducting registration now through January 13 at its locations in Fredericksburg, Gatesville, Lampasas and Marble Falls. For information about classes at these sites, students can consult the CTC website at https://www.ctcd.edu/ctcd/assets/File/Marketing%20Schedule%20Bulletins/CommunityEd%20single%20Spring%202019.pdf.

“Students must have a degree plan on file before registering for classes,” said Bruce Vasbinder, CTC community relations coordinator. “New students who need to set up a degree plan or returning students looking to change their degree plan or make sure they are on track with their current plan, must seek academic advisement and are strongly encouraged to set up an appointment with a counselor as soon as possible. Waiting until the last minute or the week before registration ends will result in a long wait times to speak with a counselor.”

To assist with the advisement process, students can view their degree plan, explore other programs and register for classes required by their degree plan online using the “Student Planning” tool on WebAdvisor. After logging in to WebAdvisor, students should click the “Eagle Self-Service” icon, go to “Student Planning” and then click the “My Progress.” Students will find their automated degree plan listing all the required courses, completed courses and those classes still needed.

Students at CTC continental sites should consult the CTC website for spring schedule postings and registration dates at https://www.ctcd.edu/locations/other-us-locations/.
