Registration for Central Texas College (CTC) online courses starting February 25 is now open. A variety of eight-, 10-, 12- and 16-week schedules are available for many core curriculum and degree-specific classes. The last day to register is February 21. There is no late registration for online courses.

New students must first have a degree plan on file with CTC before registering for classes. These students can set up an appointment online for academic advisement with a counselor to help establish a degree plan. Returning students can register online through the CTC WebAdvisor system or in person at Student Services (Bldg. 119) on the Killeen campus. Military students must also have a degree plan on file and can register for online classes using the GoArmyEd portal.

In addition to a basic online format, many of the available courses are self-paced. This allows students to complete assignments any time prior to the class end date. In a regular online format, assignments, tests and other classwork must be completed by the designated deadlines established by the instructor. CTC also offers a variety of blended courses combining both classroom and online coursework.

CTC offers more than 450 online courses to accommodate the needs of students who may have job, family and other commitments that deter them from attending traditional lecture courses. Students may complete 30 degree and 34 certificate programs solely online. The most recently added online programs are logistics and engineering. CTC was recently ranked as the 13th best online college among all schools in Texas and the eighth best community college in the country on the Top Colleges List 2018-19 assessed by OnlineColleges.com.
