Central Texas College will kick of the spring 2019 semester with several events to welcome students and instill Eagle pride. Student Success and Persistence will offer assistance with its Hot Cocoa, Coffee, Maps and Help program January 14-15. Department employees will be located in the library, Student Lounge inside the Student Center (Bldg. 106) and the Academic Studio upstairs in the Student Center to provide guidance to any students who may need help finding their way around or other assistance.

On Thursday, January 17, Student Success and Persistence will a Welcome Back Bash and Resource Fair from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Anderson Campus Center (Bldg. 156). The event is designed to provide students an opportunity to meet representatives from various academic departments, student services and campus clubs. This year;s theme is "Viva Las CTC" and there will be games, music and other activities for students.

The week of January 22-25 has been designated "Spirit Week." Each day of the week calls for students and employees to dress according to the day's theme: 

Tuesday, January 22: Twinning - choose a partner and wear matching clothes

Wednesday, January 23: CTC Eagle Spirit - wear CTC gear

Thursday, January 24: Throwback Thursday - wear "throwback" attire from your favorite decade (70s, 80s, 90s, etc.)

Friday, January 25: Jersey Day - wear the jersey of your favorite sports team                                                              

All attire must be in compliance with the CTC dress code.
