Central Texas College (CTC) will host its annual Transfer Day on Monday, September 25 in the Anderson Campus Center (Bldg. 156) from 9 - 11 a.m. The event provides students an opportunity to meet with recruiters from many four-year universities and other institutions from across Texas and the country to discuss transfer requirements, degree plans, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, housing, application deadlines and other items to make a smooth transition when transferring.

Hosted by the CTC Transfer Center, Transfer Day is an excellent opportunity for students looking to transfer to a four-year university or other school to get a step ahead when looking to further their education beyond CTC. Students can talk to representatives to make sure the credits they receive at CTC are on track with the degree plan for the school they are transferring to, learn about any and all entrance requirements and ensure all required paper work is completed.

For students who know where they are transferring, they can finalize plans with the school’s representative. And for students who are undecided about a four-year school, Transfer Day can help the decision-making process by offering information from a variety of universities and the numerous degree programs each has to offer.

Numerous in-state, out-of-state and online schools will be present including branches of the University of Texas and Texas A&M University, Texas Tech, Sam Houston State, Texas State, Saint Mary’s, Texas Southern and Howard Payne.

The public is also invited to pick up material from the various school representatives. For more information, contact the CTC Transfer Center at 254-526-1667.
