This information is given to you so that you will have it when deciding about entry into a nursing program. The Brady Extension, Vocational Nursing Program, of Central Texas College does not exclude any person from entrance to the program on the basis of past records, but it must comply with the Employment Practices and Workplace Conduct Code of Brownwood Regional Medical Center where a major portion of the student clinical practice is accomplished.
The Code of Conduct of Triad Hospitals, Inc., which includes Brownwood Regional Medical Center states, AWe will not knowingly hire, retain, employ or contract with any individuals or entities that have been excluded from participation in any government program. Nor will we knowingly conduct business or continue to conduct business with any individuals or entities, whether independent contractors, subcontractors, supplier or vendors, who have been excluded from participation in any government program.@
Brownwood Regional Medical Center will perform a background search and if you are in this excluded category, you would not be able to fulfill your clinical obligation at Brownwood Regional Medical Center and therefore not be able to complete the requirements of the Brady Extension, Vocational Nursing Program of Central Texas College.
