The Microbial World: Microorganisms and Microbial activities. This is a highly interactive site with many links to other information on the Web. Topics include yeast, fungi, bacteria and arehaea and their roles in the environment and general characteristics of each.

Medical Microbiology: This site is designed by Dr. Neil Chamberlain from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. This site includes: Photogallery of Pathogenic Bacteria, Bacterial Pathogen Pronunciation Station, Bioterrorism and many resources on Infectious Diseases.

Food Irradiation Today. This article by O.P. Synder and D.M. Poland gives good background information on food irradiation. Explaining how it works, regulations, including countries and the products they irradiate.

The internet drug index. This site is searchable and provides valuable information on any drugs that you might be taking or consider taking.
