Transition Assistance

Central Texas College Adult education has a transitions Coordinator is here to support your educational and career goals.  You can make an appointment for one-on-one advisement and also attend regularly scheduled transition workshops.  All transition services are free and highly recommended.  Services include:


College/Training Program Assistance

  • Applying
  • Choosing a school and area of study
  • Financial aid
  • Military benefits and grants/scholarships
  • Success skills, such as studying, test-taking, writing papers, and research


Career Counseling

  • Job search assistance
  • Help with applications
  • Resume/cover-letter writing
  • Interview skills
  • Networking techniques
  • Military preference benefits
  • Military enlistment


  • Other areas of transition-related advisement as needed
