International Student Admissions

Dear Prospective Student,

Thank you for your interest in Central Texas College!

Please complete the online application for admissions, and complete all forms required for admission found on our Guest Portal. Return all required forms and documents to the International Student Services office.

If your visa is denied, you may send back your original SEVIS Form I-20 and either 1) defer attendance to a future semester and apply again for an F-1 Visa, or 2) request, in writing, a tuition deposit refund.

Please note: 100% of your tuition deposit is applied to your first semester’s tuition. If your F-1 Visa is denied, or you decide not to attend, 80% of the tuition deposit is refundable.

Guest Portal: Once you open the Guest Portal page you will see the Document Library. Please refer to the forms listed under the International Student Services Guest forms, complete all required forms applicable for your admission and return all documents to the International Student Services office. There is an application checklist available on the guest portal for your convenience.

 

NEW STUDENT:

  • Central Texas College Application- Online
    • If a paper application is needed, you may complete and print the application to submit by mail or by email attachment.
  • International Student Application for Admission (Guest Portal)
  • Affidavit of Sponsorship for International Students (Guest Portal)
  • Sponsor’s Bank Statement (Original, U. S. Dollars, Current date)
  • Copy of High School Diploma w/seal and Original/Officially Translated Transcript
  • TOEFL Score* (68+ iBT)  or  IELTS* ( 5.8)
    • Not required for English-as-a-Second-Language students
  • Two passport sized photos
  • $500 USD Tuition Deposit
    • Please note: 100% of your tuition deposit is applied to your first semester’s tuition. If your F-1 Visa is denied, or you decide not to attend, 80% of the tuition deposit is refundable with the return of SEVIS Form I-20 and written Request for Refund form.
  • Meningitis Vaccine Verification uploaded into Magnus Student Health Medical Record
    • Required for students under age 22 or living in the dorms
    • Required before class registration
  • Health/Life Insurance will also be required upon arrival at CTC
  • Housing available on campus

TRANSFER STUDENT: In addition to the admission documents listed above, you must also provide the following:

  • Certificate of Good Standing from previous school (Guest Portal)
  • Copy of SEVIS Form I-20 issued by previous school
  • Copy of Passport ID, Visa, and Form I-94 / electronic record
  • Application for admission for transfer students must be submitted by no later than two weeks prior to the start of class.

TRANSIENT STUDENT: F-1 international students already attending a U.S. college or university who want to take classroom or online courses at CTC for credit at their home institution must complete this transient admission checklist
