Please review the steps below to apply for admissions and seeking F-1 student visa.  

  • Complete the admission application at Central Texas College Application- Online
    • If a paper application is needed, you may complete and print the application to submit by mail.
    •  
  • Complete the International Student Application for Admission (Guest Portal)  Must have CTC ID number.
  • The sponsor must complete and sign the Affidavit of Sponsorship for International Students (Guest Portal)  Must have CTC ID number.
  • Provide the Sponsor’s Bank Statement in the amount of $17,000 for a student. (Covers one (1) year of tuition and fees.
    • An extra $4,000 per approved family member. (Original, U. S. Dollars, Current date).
    • Aviation program bank statement amount is $29,000, due to the cost of flight fees.  
  • Submit a copy of High School Diploma w/seal and Original/Officially Translated Transcript
  • Submit English Proficiency requirements with TOEFL Score* (68+ iBT)  or  IELTS* ( 5.8)
    • Not required if seeking admission into the Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program. 
    • TOEFL scores are valid for 2 years after the test date. 
  • Submit Two passport sized photos
  • SAT scores. Show college readiness or college transcript that has been evaluated. 
  • Submit a copy of passport(s) (to include for spouse or children if you are bringing them.)
  • Pay the $500 USD Tuition Deposit. Must have a CTC student ID number.
    • Please note: 100% of your tuition deposit is applied to your first semester’s tuition. If your F-1 Visa is denied, or you decide not to attend, 80% of the tuition deposit is refundable with the return of SEVIS Form I-20 and written Request for Refund form.
  • Show proof of vaccination of Meningitis Vaccine Verification uploaded into Magnus Student Health Medical Record
    • Required for students under age 22 or living in the dorms
    • Required before class registration
  • Health/Life Insurance is required upon arrival at CTC.
  • Housing or campus dorms are available on campus. Application and $100 non-refundable application fee is required to reserve your spot. 
  • If you have received a degree from your country, submit the official evaluation to determine U.S equivalency.  Translation companies list.
