NCPACE Program Information

The Navy College Program for Afloat College Education (NCPACE) gives Sailors the opportunity to experience challenging education while on sea duty assignments preparing them for personal and professional growth. NCPACE college courses are provided by regionally accredited colleges and universities.   The program includes instructor-led and distance learning programs.

Instructor-led Programs

Central Texas College (CTC ) - Lower-level Courses
Central Texas College has been designated a Servicemembers Opportunity College. To enhance servicemembers' access to undergraduate educational programs, Central Texas College provides flexibility of programs and procedures for the recognition of nontraditional learning experiences, credit transfer, and residency requirements.

Columbia College - Upper-level Courses
Columbia College, a private, coeducational institution, offers associate, baccalaureate, and masters degrees. Founded in 1851 by charter of the Missouri legislature, and then named Christian Female College, Columbia College assumed its current name and became coeducational in 1970. Students may enroll at the home campus in Columbia, Missouri or at one of the 30 campuses around the country. Students may also enroll in web-based online education classes worldwide.

Saint Leo University - Upper-level Courses
Saint Leo University is a Catholic, coeducational liberal arts university offering programs leading to the associate's and baccalaureate degrees and the Master of Business Administration, Master of Education and Master of Criminal Justice degrees. Chartered on June 4, 1889, Saint Leo originated when the Florida legislature authorized the Order of St. Benedict of Florida to "have and possess the right and power of conferring the usual academic and other degrees granted by any college in this State."

Texas A&M University-Central Texas (TAMU-CT) - Upper-level Courses
Texas A&M University-Central Texas (TAMU-CT) in Killeen is a unique University, offering upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses toward bachelor's and master's degrees. Established September 1, 1999, the University currently serves nearly 2,000 students and provides a wide range of flexible course schedules, including online, night and weekend classes. Students include community college graduates and transfer students, working adults, active military service members, and returning students who are pursuing degrees, fulfilling career educational requirements, or attending classes for personal enrichment.

Distance Learning NCPACE, sometimes referred to as "Technology Delivered" NCPACE, is provided by ten colleges and universities. Alphabetically, they are:

Collectively, they offer more than 250 courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Several associate degrees, baccalaureate degrees, and masters degrees are available through Distance Learning NCPACE.
