Is payment due on the same day I register?
Yes. This includes classes registered for during Advanced Web and Telephone Registration. You must pay the full amount that is due by close of business. Partial payment will not be accepted. CTC accepts Visa, MC, American Express and Discover, as well as cash, checks and money orders.
If you would like to pay by credit card online, you may do so through WebAdvisor. Otherwise, you must make your payment in person at the Business Office, located in Bldg 119/Rm 102.
Students with a 3rd party paying for their courses, such as Texas Workforce Commission or Vocational Rehab, must present their voucher or letter by close of business on the day of registration.
Financial Aid students: Your aid awards cannot be posted to your account until 10 days prior to the start date of your classes. At that time, a data process will check your award amount against the amount due. If your tuition and fee charges are more than your award, you must pay the difference using your credit card or deliver a check or cash for that amount to the Business Office. If you choose to register early before financial aid funds can be applied to your account, your registration cannot be finalized. If you want to insure that your registration is finalized and guarantee your spot in your classes, you may self-pay when you register. If not, it is your responsibility to check your account balance after financial aid funds are posted to verify that your tuition/fees are paid in full. If you do not, you risk being dropped from your classes.
What happens if I don't pay on the same day of registration?
You risk being dropped from your classes. Payment is required at the time of registration. Your registration is not finalized until payment is received. You cannot participate in class if registration is not finalized. It is your responsibility to make sure that your registration is finalized. You can verify this by looking up your account on the web.
