The Central Texas College Retirees Association (CTCRA) was formed in April 1992 as a Nonprofit Corporation under section 501 (a) of the Internal Revenue Code and as an organization described in 501(c)3. Employers Identification Code 74-63-3085.
The CTCRA exists for the purpose of promoting the continued welfare of the retired employees of CTC, the social, cultural, scholarly, and economic well-being of its members, and communications and understandings between the Board of Trustees, administration, CTC Foundation, and the Central Texas community.
Officers include a president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. Committees shall consist of Constitution and By-laws, Membership, Public Relations, Finance, Liaison, Social, Benefits, and Scholarship.
General meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
All meetings of the association are in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order.
The Executive Council is made up of officers and nine other elected members. The Executive Council meets the first Tuesday in February, April, June, August, October, and December.
Quorum of any regular meeting is a single majority of the membership present.
Elections are held during the month of July each year. The term of office is one (1) year beginning September 1 and running through August 31.
