There are several free online resources available to the public. These websites can help students who wish to review grammar, mechanics, usage and style.
Two websites in particular are the Purdue Online Writing Lab and Grammar Bytes.
The Purdue Online Writing Lab https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/purdue_owl.html has a variety of resources for writers of all skill levels. Perhaps the most valuable for preparing for an objective grammar exam would be the “Mechanics,” “Grammar” and “Punctuation” links under the “General Writing” link on the left hand sidebar and the “Search the OWL” dialogue box on the right hand sidebar (which allows learners to search specific lessons and tutorials).
Grammar Bytes < www.chompchomp.com/menu.htm> offers more specific instruction for Adult Basic Ed. Learners
