Visual arts students are offered instruction in two-dimensional and three-dimensional studio courses and in art history and art appreciation.

Visual arts students enjoy ongoing informal exhibitions of their works in several locations and an annual all-department student show.

Courses are offered in Visual Arts which lead to an associate's degree in fine arts or commercial art, which transfer to corresponding four-year university degree plans.

Most visual arts courses may be taken to satisfy the Humanities/Fine Arts requirement for all degree plans.
