The Kinesiology department prepares students for many career options, by equipping students with the academic knowledge and practical experience necessary to work in a variety of recreational and fitness settings. Students interested in working in a "movement" environment, such as athletics, physical education, athletic training, fitness and personal training, would enjoy the Kinesiology major. A degree in public health, nutrition, exercise science or health and wellness can provide the practical skills and hands-on training needed to land a career in corporate wellness.
