Do you feel "worn down" by many stressors or problems? Actual or expected loss, such as a death or a failed relationship can often be a contributing factor. Do you feel as if you are in a state of emotional turmoil? Left unchecked, intense emotional reactions to overwhelming circumstances may cause anger, mood instability, psychological deterioration or dangerous behavior.

Students can come to get a variety of assistance in our group sessions. We offer AA, OA, and Mindfulness Hour groups.
- Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem. Come to a meeting to try it out or see if AA is for you.
- AA meets every Wednesday at noon in Bldg. 264
- Overeaters Anonymous (OA) is a fellowship of individuals who through shared experience, strength and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating. Come to a meeting to try it out and see if OA is for you or check out the How do I start? survey
- OA meets every Thursday at noon in Bldg. 264
- Mindfulness Hour Mindfulness Hour will introduce students to a widely use of reflecting tools on how to manage everyday stressful situations. This practice can significantly benefit students by improving their mental health, academic performance, and overall well-being. Come to a meeting and see if Mindfulness Hour is for you!
- Mindfulness Hour meets every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 12-1pm in Bldg. 264
