Requirements
Requirements to enter a Skills Center program are as follows:

Complete the CTC Application for Admission. Special note for tuition assistance students - you must apply and register through the GoArmyEd.com portal and attend an education briefing on Fort Hood (Bldg. #33009).

Connect with a CATE Center Advisor at CATE.Center@ctcd.edu. This is required as you cannot register for self-paced class online.

To begin a self-paced, level I certificate program after your application has been processed complete the following steps.

Take the Diagnostic Test or request a waiver - you may receive a waiver from our department test - click here to see how.

Activate your certificate plan.

Initiate course registration.

To begin a level II certificate or an associate degree, follow these steps:

Meet TSI requirements.

Activate certificate/degree plan.

Initiate course registration for major related courses or register for core courses using WebAdvisor Eagle Self-Service.
