About the Program

  • The 16-week full-time program is broken in to 3 sessions and it includes hands-on, competency instruction at  Central Texas College’s facility on Fort Hood (formerly Fort Cavazos) Campus. 
  • Available to transitioning soldiers and veterans but all others are welcome.

What to Expect Upon Completion

  • Transitioning active-duty military and veterans who successfully complete the program will be awarded two IT-Certificates.
  • Information Technology Certificate
  • Cyberdefense – Information Assurance Certificate
  • Upon completion of training, the candidate will receive job placement assistance.

Industry Certifications

  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CompTIA A+ (220-1201)
  • CompTIA A+ (220-1202)
  • Exam vouchers are included as part of the program.
  • Prescreening is required for program entry.

Certifications are awarded upon passing the certification exam and are not required for course or program completion.
