TSI (Texas Success Initiative - Entrance Examination)
All active duty and former military personnel are exempt from TSI testing.
About the Assessment: The TSI Assessment is a mandatory computer adaptive placement examination for all students. It is completed entirely online and includes multiple choice questions as well as an essay. It will cover math, reading, and writing skills.
What to Bring With You on the Test Day: Your student ID number and valid photo identification.
What NOT to take to the Test: Textbooks, notebooks, dictionaries, calculators, or other papers of any kind are NOT allowed in the testing room. Further, anyone who gives or receives help from another test taker during testing will not be permitted to continue. Cell phones, handhelds, and other devices must be turned off and put away during testing.
Testing Fee: The nonrefundable testing fee is $25.00 for all, or $10 per section.

CLEP/DANTES
CTC does accept specific CLEP, DANTES, ASE, APP and other tests. Official score reports must be sent directly from CLEP/DANTES to CTC.
