Established in 1853, Fort Riley Kansas is known as "Home of the First Infantry Division, Big Red One."

It is a rapidly growing installation and Central Texas College (CTC) proudly stands ready to provide quality education to the area's soldiers, family members and local residents.

CTC has continuously offered college programs at Fort Riley since November 1979 at the invitation of the installation command. CTC offers the Associate of General Studies degree and vocational/technical courses that apply toward the completion of an Associate of Applied Science degree in the concentrations previously mentioned. In addition to the courses and programs provided onsite, CTC offers more than 30 degree plans which can be completed solely online through our distance learning offerings.

Founded more than 50 years ago, Central Texas College is a public, open-admission community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in academic, professional and vocational/technical fields. With its main campus in Killeen, TX, CTC has more than 100 locations around the world and serves more than 50,000 students on military installations, in correctional facilities, in embassies and on ships at sea. For seven consecutive years, CTC has been named to the Top 20 Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities by KMI Media Group and Military Advanced Education publication. This year, CTC ranked second among the top 50 most popular colleges chosen by active-duty service members.
